In business class, you’ll earn only 120 Qpoints on a return trip to London from either Sydney or Melbourne (QF1/2 and QF9/10), regardless of your ticket type. When flying Qantas, also take note that you won’t earn any Qpoints (or Qmiles, for that matter) on any domestic flights whatsoever – unless that domestic flight is in connectionI will tell anyone who listens that Qatar Airways Qsuite is the world's best business class, and the Qsuite is certainly a better hard product than first class on British Airways thanks to its incredible privacy. For the soft product, however, this flight in British Airways first class was superior — with better food than I've found aboard
The plane was a two class Boeing 787-8. As you can see above, the Qatar seat configuration here is one-two-one in a herringbone format. There were also two seats in the middle at the back behind a counter. The flat bed seat has a pitch of 80 inches and a width of 22 inches. For comparison, the Qatar Boeing 777 seat had a slightly shorter pitch
After reading this review I checked out the QATAR flights. They must have changed the flight time and type of plane pretty quickly. The flight now leaves Brisbane 10.55pm and no longer a plane with Qsuite. The plane is now a 77W and accoring to Seat Guru it is the 77W that is 6 across in business.
